Russia’s Rosneft to keep oil output flat on year in 2016
MOSCOW, Mar 31 (PRIME) -- Russian state-run oil major Rosneft plans to keep its oil production flat on the year in 2016, First Vice President Eric Liron said Thursday in a conference call.
In 2015, Rosneft’s oil production hit a record of 254 million tonnes of oil equivalent.
“We are trying to keep the production plateau in 2016,” he said.
Vice President Vlada Rusakova said the company also plans to increase natural gas production by 3.6% on the year to 64.8 billion cubic meters in 2016, and 63 billion cubic meters of them are contracted.
